Syrena Irena bistro

The bistro took the place of a former hotel café in a building from the 1950s. The combination of classical and humoristic motifs illustrates the main idea of the place, which is patronised by a mermaid with two faces: at daytime - Siren serving dumplings, and at night - Irena serving drinks.

The mermaid patronizing the premises was the inspiration for geometric motifs and colors. The classic details of the arcade hall were balanced by less serious elements — graphics transferred to the third dimension, in the form of hanging decorations and neon lights. Among the finishes used, metalwork elements predominate — contours made of bent sheet metal and railings with a decorative shell pattern. Smooth, pure colors are accompanied by ceramic mosaic, wood, upholstery and terazzo.
