'PERŁOWA' BEERHOUSE

Perłowa Beerhouse is located in one of the buildings belonging to the historic Vetter Breweries in Lublin, currently managed by Perła Brewery.

Keeping in mind that Perłowa is the brand’s flagship bar, creating friendly and versatile meeting space was a priority. Being the only element in the space, the bar is the main and only focus. All guests, sitting or standing, gather around the 30-meter long counter.

Shelves filled with beer bottles and glasses, along with a custom-made neon lamp, form an installation suspended above the counter. Oak slat shell makes for a muted backdrop for the project, whilst a mirror ceiling reflects every element of the room, giving the sense of space double the height it actually is.

The idea of balancing ‘warm’ and ‘cold’ materials is reflected in architects’ choices. Zinc sheet countertop references traditional zinc counters and beer brewing equipment. Concrete floor in lead grey was installed. Yellow neon light and wood slats add warmth to the space.

The bar is accessible from both the main road and the courtyard with an outdoor sitting area.
