‘Kuchnia Otwarta’ restaurant is located on the ground floor of Royal Wilanów office building designed by JEMS Architekci. The space of approx. 460 sqm has an irregular polygon shape.
The design aims to create a versitile interior - elegant but friendly and relaxed.
The space was sectioned out to provide easier navigation. Zones located
on the outsides – the VIP room and kids zone – were
separated from the main space with glass walls.
Remaining zones – breakfast, lunch and bar areas – are situated within the main space, where plantings play a big role. Large scale greenery separates the areas and provide intimacy. Plant stands on wheels allow for quick rearangements if needed.
The zones differ in furnishings, however the palette of materials and colors used in consistent with natural oak, grey lacquered wood, graphite textile, black steel and brass details.
The main focus of the space, located in front of the main entrance, is the ‘chef’s table’ – an oak table for fourteen. The table is situated between two monoliths – a grey marble bar counter and a stainless steel counter that encloses the open kitchen. A pine slat wall painted black serves as the table’s backdrop.
